I decided to write a list of 28 resolutions and
fitness goals:
- Run 10 Miles in 1 hour and 30 minutes (using HEED and
Endurolytes) by end of September OR ELSE visit the gym 4 times a
week for a month starting from September
- Snorkel around Comino island by August OR ELSE Run from Rabat
to Gnejna Bay and swim to Golden bay by September
- Intensive self-supplied fast trek around Gozo in 2 days by
January 2008
- Intensive self-supplied excluding water fast trek around Malta
in 4 days by January 2008
- Cycle around the coast of Malta on a spring day OR ELSE circuit
jog/cross-train around Ghajn Tuffieha (including stairs and hills)
8 times in 5 hours
- Appreciate my home island : Visit The Hypogeum, Hagar Qim,
Mnajdra Temples, Tarxien Temples, St. Paul's Catacombs, Ghar Dalam
- Cave and Museum, Harbour Cruise, Malta at War Museum,Visit the
Azur Window, Blue Grotto cruise, Museum of Roman Antiquities in
Rabat, Popeye Village, Fort Rinella Animated Tour, Captain Morgan
Cruise and ride in a Luzzu by September 2008
- Save the environment, catch the bus and cycle as much as
possible. Stop using car by approx 40% starting from today.
- Cork messages in bottles with my website address on them and
instructions to email me with location information by
September
- Learn how to cook at least 10 excellent meals in the first 3
months of living in my new house
- Kayak it from Valletta to the closest point in Gozo and back,
and sleep on a beach in Comino by September
- Identify 30 things that make me happy besides money, and do
them twice as much by December
- Learn how to kite surf by January 2008 OR ELSE Learn more about
photography optics
- Start shooting in infra red OR ELSE fisheye by December
2007
- Get someone to say my full name 100 years from now.. hide my
mark deep underground near a landmark with a picture of the place
as it stands
- Photograph Balconies of Valletta, 5 fiestas and the grand
Harbor from sea by December
- Think like a kid again; spend a day at the beach building a
sand castle OR ELSE use a pro trampoline by September
- Learn the Fire staff and post tutorials on ianstravels.com by
July
- Run next March's Marathon... back to back!! IF FAILED circuit
train ghajn tuffieha once a month and recover, try again the next
year OR ELSE read four issues of the National geographic in one
day
- Make a nutritional and fitness plan (that try to integrate as
many goals as possible) by 13th April
- Learn Photoshop specifically for image editing by December
- Cut Day-to-day costs by 30% and travel more!
